Automatic Blog Commenting
By: Richard Butler
We want everything to be done, now, done quickly and done nearly automatically!
It's a fact!
Many people on the internet are used to automating any and every task. Many people
have mainly used automated programs for search engine submission, now the latest
thing is automatic blog comments.
What people are trying to achieve is two fold:
a.) Build up backlinks (search engines like this)
b.) Advertise their site/product on someone elses blog.
First let's see what is positive about automatic blog commenting:
1.) Its is automated.
2.) Less Time Consuming
3.) Normally it costs nothing
4.) Gives numerous backlinks
5.) Helps in website promotion
6.) Its makes a website popular with search engines
7.) Less effort required
So in a nut shell it is pretty good right?
All of the above are true, and may be useful but what's easy is not always best!
Although you may believe you'll get a good ranking you need to understand its
limitations.
You know one of the things that is so important online? Credibility. People will
find out about you very quickly online, and if you're posting on everyone's blog this may
actually affect your credibility.
When I talk about credibility here, I mean your image and your websites image.
As business person online, dont look as if your desperate in earning money.. Dont look
like a newbie.. Dont do things that may bring negative feedback to you.
In relation to Automatic Blog Commenting, it really can ruin a business persons
personality and image.
Automatic blog commenting does not show professionalism. To be frank, it really
can annoy people reading the comments. Imagine reading the comments where it is
obvious that you are promoting something. 100% certain it will not be effective..
Although you might drive some new visitors to your site, chances are they won't be in
the right frame of mind to buy from you - they may just be curious to see how you are!
Remember online image is everything!
